Sci-Fi Panels - Substance Designer - by Jonathan BENAINOUS

Here is my latest material study fully made with Substance Designer and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 3.
The main goal of this project was to study in detail the creation of Sci-fi Panels with floors and space padded walls.
For the design, I found inspiration from Paul Pepera's artworks and from a Sci-Fi Helmet I did a few years back.

Finally, to speed up my process I used a few height maps from Jonas Ronnegard to add an extra layer of details and for the cables I gave a shot to Igor Elovikov's Curve Toolbox that I totally recommand.

By adding and subtracting my different shapes I managed to create this ID Mask Map. I then used it to easily group elements together by using "Color to Mask" nodes and create the color palette of my albedo.
